Policy Update Notice
Introduction
Google continuously evaluates its developer ecosystem to improve platform security, compliance, and long-term sustainability.
As part of these efforts, Google will transition eligible Company and Organization developer accounts from a one-time registration payment model to an annual subscription model.
What Is Changing
Under the previous model, organizations paid a one-time fee when creating a Google Play Console developer account.
Under the updated policy, eligible Company accounts may be required to maintain an active annual subscription to continue accessing publishing and account management services.
